We moved to the Loganville area about 10 years ago. Back then there wasn't much out here - the local newspaper banner headline about that time questioned the ability of the town to support a fine dining establishment when the Ruby Tuesdays went up. That sort of thing.
Not much has changed over the years in Loganville - except for a strange infestation of geocachers! Its truly amazing how thick on the ground (or in trees, or under light poles, or strapped on the backs of snarling, indignant forest creatures) the geocaches are out here. and that has made it a truly amazing place to live.
So if you're caching through the area or simply stopping by to get your oil changed, pick up some live bait, pay a speeding ticket or get your synochronlastic infidibulm calibrated, stop by the Loganville sign and have a little fun. We may be driving by back to our home of near ten years, where mom lives across the street, sister is next door, live bait is always available and waiting at our house is our sweet kitty whose mission in life is to destroy everything we hold dear. Its a great place to live. Welcome to Loganville!
No need to offroad park - there' safe parking at the Legacy building a very short walk away. The cache is a fairly normal one - one either finds it 30 seconds are or lays awake at night, brooding... the Terrain rating is for a slight incline going to GZ, and the highly mugglicious sightlines from nearby highway 78. Sure, its 75 yards away, but people doing the happy dance in an open field may attract the notice of even the most jaded Loganville residents. Use geostealth or you may be forced to explain that the price of live bait has exceeded your budget and you're seeing what blessings the sweet land of Loganville can provide.
