Eighth in a series of caches placed at or near Norfolk Village Signs (NVS). Drive or cycle between these caches which will eventually cover most of the villages in this area of North East Norfolk excepting those where there are already caches very close to the signs of course. By their very nature they are all 'drive bys'.
We pass these signs, hardly giving them a second glance, but aside from their designs and varying degrees craftsmanship, many are little gems, containing nuggets of historical information sometimes explained on an accompanying plaque. Some were erected in the immediate post war period whilst many of the more elaborate ones are modern. Sadly those carved in wood often succumb to the elements and have been replaced by a moulded fibre-glass version for ease of maintenance. This is a disguised micro-cache which contains a log sheet only so Please PBYOP. A pen and a paperclip are basic equipment for all geocachers. Play the game. Sign the log or don't log it as found! Please park considerately and do not climb on the sign, it is not necessary.
