Geocache Description:

This is a 2 stage cache on Lake Spaulding. There is a $7.00 day use fee for the lake. Stage 1 is a camo taped micro and the final is a 1 lb. PB jar with camo. Please replace both stages to their hidding spots as you found them. There is a "Abe" for the FTF ..... it will help offset the fee for parking.

I finally got a chance to paddle Lake Spaulding the other day. A quick glance at Google Earth and I noticed a few islands I wanted to visit. Just in case I had a Gilligan's Island incident, I left the location of the first island I was heading for hidden at the parking/beach area. You will need to find this hidden container to find the right island and then the cache I left there. On the island you will find a structure that a previous visitor left....maybe it was Gilligan himself. Cache is not at the structure but it is near so no need to do any damage to it. A boat would make this an easier cache to get since it is a good 1.5 mile paddle straight to it. You could also hike your way around the lake to the closest point and a short swim would be in your future...but I don't know how far the hike would be.
