Pinellas Geo Event - Meet, Eat and Greet 2012 Event Cache

Join us for another fun and casual meet, eat and greet. Please bring something to share for our pot luck!

The Pinellas Geo Event Team will be there by 9am so you can sign in. Come early and cache until lunch! The park and the surrounding area are home to plenty of caches to keep you busy. Plus, there may be a few new surprises!

The tentative schedule is:

Event log open for sign-in: 9:00 a.m.
Bingo: 9:00 until over
Novice Cache Tour: 10:00 a.m. (first tour)
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.
Door Prizes: After Lunch
Novice Cache Tour: After Door Prizes (second tour)

The Novice Cache Tours will help new cachers find the caches in Fort DeSoto Park while learning the basic skills of geocaching.

There will be a TB drop location and lots of TB's and coins to be discovered.

The park has a nice bike trail, and many caches can be reached by bike.

The committee will supply all paper products, plasticware, water, ice, hot dogs, buns and condiments. You guys brings the rest! Please post a “Will Attend” log, and let us know how many people ar coming and what you plan to bring.

Please note there is now a daily parking fee of $5 per car in order to enter Ft. DeSoto Park.
