This was an elementary school before.
Cache is a medicine bottle of the glass. Please bring your pen.
Kata Branch School was established in 1882. A present schoolhouse was completed in 1923.
After the school was closed in 1974, it has been used as an assembly house in the village. It was open to the public in 2004, and used as various event sites. Nostalgic atmosphere of a wooden schoolhouse can be tasted. The visit is free.

潟分校は，明治15年に創立しました。現在の校舎は大正12年の竣工です。昭和49年に廃校となった後，村の集会所として利用されてきました。平成16年に一般公開され，さまざまなイベント会場として利用されています。木造校舎の懐かしい雰囲気が味わえます。見学は自由です。
