Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Periodic Table of the Elements power trail; which begins at Mount Henry Bridge and continues south down the freeway cycle path. Please stay safe and enjoy the power trail.


Boron (B) is a Group 13 element that has properties which are borderline between metals and non-metals (semi-metallic). It is a semiconductor rather than a metallic conductor. Chemically it is closer to silicon than to aluminium, gallium, indium, and thallium.
