Geocache Description:

The first official National Trust geocache in North Cornwall! Created by volunteers on a National Trust working holiday, searching for this cache is a great excuse to get out for a walk on the North Cornwall coast.

A small klip - lok container with room for swaps. Please replace and conceal in its hiding place.

This site is a short walk from the National Trust car park off of the B3276 near Porthcothan. From the car park, head towards the Porth Mear valley down a permissive footpath. Please take care as in wet weather the paths can become slippery. The cache itself is very close to the footpath.

Close to the car park is the Beach Head bunkhouse where volunteers on National Trust working holidays can spend their downtime. The ‘Wrath of Zen’ is the first Geocache for the National Trust in North Cornwall and was put together by 9 volunteers on one of these working holidays, repairing Cornish stone hedges.

A great place to visit whatever the weather, Park Head is National Trust farmland managed with wildlife in mind. There are great views from the coast path over towering cliffs and the massive sea stacks of Bedruthan Steps. In summer the cliff tops will be covered in wildflowers and skylark song will be in full flow
