Welcome to Kiwanis Island Park located on Merritt Island. Home to two softball fields, tennis courts, racquetball courts, boat launch, children's playground, two pavilions and much more. This park is going to be host to the SCGA's Geo-versary event once again this year so we decided to place a couple of new caches for folks to find while here.
You will be seeking a micro on the backside of one of the softball fields. Be careful when you hear the "crack of the bat" you just might see a softball heading your way. Please be careful when retrieving this cache. Be very respectful for all the plant life in the area. We are geocachers and supposed to be respectful of our surroundings. So let's not leave a blazed trail that looks like a herd of elephants came through. This will not be a hard to cache to find but could be a little bit of a pain to retrieve. Have fun and enjoy the other caches in the park.
