Geocache Description:

A Geocache to add to the dining and shopping experience of S. Congress

South Austin has many of these small park areas that are undeveloped because they have deep ravines that flood in heavy rains.  I tried to place this Geocache away from both traffic and poison ivy.  Park at the end of Ravine Dr.   Katamorphism is metamorphism that occurs at or near the earth''s surface; breaks down complex minerals into simpler ones.  Think karst.   Karst  is a landscape formed from the dissolution of soluble rocks including limestone, dolomite and gypsum. It is characterized by sinkholes, caves, and underground drainage systems.  And rocks that look like Swiss cheese.
