Near very busy highway. Use caution. Hang on to your kids.
Small cache with space for log and tiny prizes. A few years ago we saw a HUGE eagle's nest up in large tree across the highway. It was fascinating to see as we travelled back and forth to the coast. Then suddenly it disappeared!! We always look up in that tree when we're driving that stretch, remembering that amazing sight. Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve in Hillsboro has an authentic bald eagle's nest on display, and information about how it was retrieved.
