Geocache Description:

Coming from Kahului, on the way to Hana. Travel 6.8 miles after the intersection of Hana Hwy. and Haleakala Hwy. #37. Turn right here and loop around under the highway. Park, but not in the way of the boat ramp please.

Going into Maliko gulch, you'll notice that your cellphone may lose all or most reception. The bay itself is a  popular snorkeling and standup paddle location.
 
Once where cows were taken to boats for transport, now an important cove for accessing the extreme sport location - Jaws.

The cache is hidden on the other side of a stream that runs directly underneath the highway. I felt that this spot would be the optimal area for cell reception loss, which is what inspired this cache in the first place. It is not recommended to cross the stream during or after heavy rainstorms due to risk of flash flood.
