Geocache Description:

Gozanoishi Shrine is the shrine in the levee of Lake Tazawa.
Cache is a Tupper case. Please bring your own pen.

Gozanoishi Shrine is a Shinto shrine where the lake genius - Princess Tatsuko is enshrined. This name originates the fact that Yoshitaka Satake who was Akita feudal lord took a rest sitting on a big stone in 1650. The shrine gateway painted in red that faces the lake is impressive.

キャッシュはタッパーケースです。ペンをご持参ください。

御座石神社は，湖神であるたつこ姫が祀られている神社です。この社名は，1650年に秋田藩主佐竹義隆公が大きな石場に座って休んだことに由来します。湖に面して建てられている朱塗りの鳥居が印象的です。
