Geocache Description:

The Trashy Cache series is Hackettstown's first real geocaching series and first ever mystery cache. Each cache is a piece of "trash" inside of a zip-loc bag with two important things; a log to sign your name and comment on the cache, and a pair of two letters circled somewhere on the box. These letter combonations will be what is used to find the coordinates of the final cache, "Trashy Cache (Final).

This cache is the first cache in Hackettstown's first series: Trashy Caches. This particular cache is hidden just off a small trail which connects the culdasac at James Court (Ct.) and a gravel road leading to an old Elk lodge from Mountain Avenue. I suggest parking in the culdasac as apposed to the gravel road as the cache is closer to the culdasac than the road and it is also more overgrown coming from the gravel road (it isn't horrible, just less veitation from the culdasac.

This cache is an HP ink cartrige package that has been emptied except for the log. It shouldn't be too hard to find but be sure not to wander on to private property (eg. backyards) though it should be easy not to as the cache is a good distance away. Also be sure to keep your eyes out for muggles walking along the trail coming back from the shops on Mountain Avenue or nosy neighbors peaking out there windows. Make sure to write down the letters I circled for the final cache!

Good Luck!

Congrats to S3K-sdibern for the FTF!
