Geocache Description:

A cache in a small urban laneway, with lots of interesting stuff nearby.

This cache will take you to a laneway behind a building facing on to Yonge St. Take a peek at the building immediately East of you. The statuary on top was based on the famous 1932 Rockefeller Center photograph, showing the workers eating lunch on a girder suspended high above the city. Don’t miss the fascinating small park just a few steps North, a spot that half of Team Buffy stumbled across on an early morning walk. It is the site of the 19th century North gate to the city of Toronto, where there was a tollbooth for travellers on the world’s longest street. There’s an interesting sculpture commemorating the various surveyors who laid out Yonge St., beginning in 1793.

Cache is an unusual hide– think outside the box and bring your own pen. No room for anything but the log book in the container, but it's not that small.
