Geocache Description:

This geocache has been placed in memory of James Manchester, known affectionatly to his friends as "Grandpa Jim". My childhood is full of memories of my Grandfather and I hiking this mountain every year in the fall. One of his final requests... to have his ashes spread on the top of Mt. Chocorua, his favorite place to be. So, while taking our final hike together, this cache was placed in his memory.

The coords may be slightly off so I have also included a map to make finding slightly easier. The cache is located at the end of the Champney Brook Trail where it intersects with the Piper Trail. You will see a trail sign pointing you to the summit. Stand facing the sign, turn around 180 degrees, there is a slight trail going into the woods about 50'. Bushwhack into this area and look to the right, you will see some rocks, cache is placed here.

Enjoy, happy caching!

Congrats JEM3 for the FTF!
