Brand New I-45 Rest Stop Area & Park. This is a Park & Grab Cache, about the size of a Hockey Puck.
Mrs. Imago and Moi headed northbound back to DFW from Family Reunion and thought we noticed a cache here so we stopped at this brand new gorgeous park / rest stop area. But alas the cache we sought was across the Highway on the southbound side!
So we hide instead of seek today!
FTF gets some cold, hard ca(sh)che; enough for a Tall Starbucks Iced Latte!
This cache has a magnetic personality and is the size of a hockey puck - big enough for small items. NO PEN - BRING YOUR OWN PEN / PENCIL. This is a park and grab (P&G) cache (especially) if you drive a really big truck; just a very short stroll down a paved sidewalk path.
We took the time to explore this brand new rest stop area and we are IMPRESSED: it has WiFi, statue artwork, playground area, plenty of large covered picnic areas, Buffalo (Bison actually) and a paved 1/2 mile walking path for road weary travelers to "stretch" on.
The cache is well concealed, secured tight but an easy reach; It should survive high water easily. There was no serious mud or high weeds, ivy or snakes/critters to note when we made the hide. But this may change over time - We'll keep an eye on it.

8-5-12 Update: I just kicked up the difficulty a 1/2 star with the recent DNFs. And will also this note: you can't get a visual on this one before you make the grab so, if you're leery about putting your hand where the sun don't shine, gloves might be a good idea.
