Geocache Description:

Small cache containing only a log. Congrats to 96Shadow1100ACE for FTF

This ring levee surrounds the small town of Krotz Springs. The town sits right on the Atchafalaya River and inside the West Atchafalaya River floodway. The ring levee was built to protect the town in the case of a major flood or river levee breach. The cache is a small waterproof match container and is placed to survive even a ring levee breach.... Happy hunting and as always please practice CITO.
