This is a Wherigo cache in which you will act as a Jedi padawan to destroy the Empire. It is based on Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. To complete this cache, you will need either a smart phone with the Wherigo app, Garmin Colorado, Oregon or Nuvi 500 series.
To get started, download the cartridge "STAR WARS - BATTLE FOR ENDOR" from wherigo.com. Your username and password for geocaching.com work on wherigo.com.
Greetings young padawan! The rebel alliance has elected you to lead a mission to Endor, where the Empire has installed a shield generator protecting the Death Star. We have sent our fleet to destroy the Death Star, the Emperor, and the Empire once and for all. But none of that will be possible if you do not deactivate the shields! We have managed to capture an imperial shuttle which you can use to safely land on Endor. Bothan spies have also given us the password required to pass the Empire's Star Destroyers. Use this information to fly to Endor and accept your mission. Listed coordinates are for parking and the beginning of the cache. Good luck, and may the force be with you.
All stages are on the trail, and everything is virtual except for the final, which is a small container.
Having a knowledge of the Star Wars movies is not necessary to complete this cache, though you may enjoy it more if you do. There is a very minor field puzzle at one zone, but it does not rely heavily on Star Wars knowledge.
