Geocache Description:

A return to the home of the fictional smiling cat, after a 14 month break.
The Cheshire Cat is the home of Wirral, Cheshire and N Wales geocachers, and we've been holding our events here for 6 years!
Cachers from far and wide are always assured a warm welcome

October 2nd at 17:30 (5:30pm) until the Last to Leave, crawls out

What's Happening?
Food, Drink and lots and lots of geochatting.

The Fictional Smiling Cat, has commissioned 100 Wooden Nickel's (sorry they are not trackable). And everyone who Attends (just like a mega event we're talking bodies and not accounts) will receive one, until they run out.


If your unlucky enough to not get one, there will be a new Wooden Nickel commissioned for the next Cheshire Cat event.

And for future events as well, so idea's for designs will be welcome.

Paper and Pencils, for design suggestions and a Suggestion Box will be provided. please put your user name on them (but please keep them KISS, as making them with Paws is hard)

The Cheshire Cat Event now has a Third organiser, as the Queen of Wirral, HazelS has moved down beyond Clapham Junction to live with her Knight in Shining Armour, we wish her all the best. And the Cheshire Cat will miss her.

Oh and it is difficult to type with paws (well I am a Cat) this is a Old School Event Page! No pretty pictures (I tend to disappear just as photo's are taken) no shiny add ons. But if you all ask him very nicely, our friend and fine Web Badge creator "Sir Harveyjj"- Steve to his friends, on the application of a large amount of refreshing liquid (coffee) might just be persuaded to create one for you.

if people ask them very nicely, maybe our highly skilled friends Mike and Gail-"Team Marzipan", might consider a half hour Juggling workshop for those of all ages (who unlike me, have hands and not paws). But you'll have to going to ask them very nicely (well I can't as I'm a Cat, and Melyn is a dog. And Cat's and Dogs don't get on, or do they?).

Dog's are welcome in the Outside Areas of the Cheshire Cat (Guide Dogs and D.A.D. being allowed in). So if your bringing a Canine Friend with you, please state so in your Will Attend log, and there will be a Doggy Gift Bag waiting for them (wow a Cat welcoming Dog's, what next).

Will our Queen of the Micro, Her Royal Smallness-Tia-Fantasy Raider, be making any GeoKnights this time, who knows. You'll just have to attend, and see who if anyone gets Knighted (you never know it could be you!)

Everyone who attends have Meows of Fun, and if you see any Draig's about. Please give them a stroke, because I love curling up next to them (well what do you expect, all the warmth).
