Cache on Netarts Spit with acess across Netarts Bay or though Cape Lookout State Park with $5. daily fee.
House overlooking the Bay and to a lesser degree the Pacific.
2 mile hike each way if parking at Cape Lookout SP
Set this cache on July 4th on a gorgeous sunny day! Cache is homemade container but not normally built by typical occupants. Cache is very visible at ground zero but may be hard to spot before that. It is unlikely anyone will simply stumble upon this. Bushwhacking IS required.
Take care when opening and closing cache. Inside part needs to be put back with care and there is a retainer pin on the right side that will need to be removed and replaced to sign log. An extra retainer pin is in cache in case you drop it. Inside part fits better when turned the correct way. Please don't force door shut, it may break.
