The building near this cache is a local heritage site named the 'Artist Studio Dwelling.'
What initially drew me to this building, (not realising its heritage) was its unusual mosaic artwork, which is fitting since it was and still an art studio.
From the 1930s a well-known artist by the name of Dora Chapman used the front of the building as her studio.
It is currently still being used as an Art Studio, BYO Pen.
If you are interested in the building it is North of the cache across the road, the road is also known for its famous 'House' at No.11 where the publisher of the local paper resided.
It's a high muggle & residential area close to the CBD. Enjoy
