Geocache Description:

Everyone is welcome to attend this event and watch the fun. To participate in the poker draw, you should have visited the five related caches and bring five cards to make up a five card draw poker hand.

*****Update 12/25/12*******
If you have a partial poker hand, and bring a generous donation for my local food pantry, I might agree to fill out your poker hand for you.

This final event will be at the Madbury Town Hall parking lot (one entrance to the caches at Kingman Farm!). Poker hands will be compared from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm when you will also have the chance to discard some of the cards in your hand and “draw” new replacement cards.

If you can’t attend, you can email me your “hand”. I will determine the winner from all attendees, and those who have visited all five caches and have emailed me their “hand”. You can authorize me or another cacher to “draw” cards for you. I have jokers which can be used as wild cards and which will only be available during the draw.

Expect some fun prizes. And watch for some new caches to pop up nearby, making it worth the trip even if you don't have a poker hand to play.

The five caches in this series are:
Poker Deal #1 - GC3P5TP - Sweet Trail
Poker Deal #2 – GC3P5V8 - Simone Wildlife Preserve
Poker Deal #3 – GC3P5VC - Isinglass Recreation Area
Poker Deal #4 – GC3P5VQ - Northwood Meadows State Park
Poker Deal #5 – GC3P5VY - Bellamy Wildlife Management Area

Rules to have a playable poker hand: You must visit all five caches. You may only take one card from each cache. The card taken must be posted in your log entry. You may exchange a card from one cache for one from another cache and that must also be posted in your log. If you exchange cards between caches, you must revisit the original cache to choose a new card. You may never have more than 5 cards in your possession. You may not communicate with anyone visiting a different cache at the same time. You may not have two cards that are the same at any time (2 aces of spades, for example). These hand rankings with wild cards will be used as official: (visit link) In the case of a tie, suit rankings will be done by a blind draw.

I started with two decks of playing cards and randomly placed them in the five caches, so there are duplicate cards out there. I added cards from two more decks, and will replenish the caches as needed. There may be new cards in circulation until December. You can revisit caches to see if you can improve your hand. Cards are marked with their original cache locations.
