Városmajori templomegyüttes
A Városmajor délkeleti végénél álló kistemplom /1925/ és a modern nagytemplom /1933/ - a különálló beton harangtornyával – a két világháború közötti időszak kiemelkedő magyar építészeti együttese.
Mindkét templom tervezése Árkay Aladártól indult, de a nagytemplom terveinek végső elkészítése – az apa halála után - a fiára maradt.
A vasbetonszerkezet tervezője Folly Róbert, a kivitelező Kapuváry Gusztáv volt.
A II. világháborúban már 1942-ben megsérült a templom egy közeli bombatalálat miatt. Budapest ostrománál újabb súlyos károk keletkeztek. Sztehló Lili 6 üvegablaka odaveszett. A helyreállításra éveket kellett várni.

Városmajor Church Complex
The small church /1925/ at the South East end of Városmajor and the modern Great Church /1933/ - with its separate concrete bell tower - form an outstanding Hungarian architectural ensemble of the inter-war period.
Both churches were originally planned by Aladár Árkay but the final preparation of plans for the Great Church - after the death of the father - were carried out by his son.
The reinforced concrete structure was designed by Robert Folly, construction was lead by Gusztáv Kapuváry.
During World War II, the great Church was damaged in a nearby bombing in 1942. The siege of Budapest came with further serious damages. Lili Sztehló’s six glass windows were destructed. The restoration could begin only a few years later.
