How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A walk through Holywell Dene and surounding area. With seventeen caches, plus a bonus cache (numbered to make route easier).

Also the option of a further five caches located close to, or en-route.

Suzie was our family pet who loved coming on this walk, for many years.

The cache is small cliplock container, located just off the footpath in the area where Grove Farm was situated. It contains log with room for smaller size swaps/trackables. Please bring your own pen/pencil.

Grove Farm was farmed by William Lambert and consisted of a farmhouse with a pantile roof and three labourer's cottages. The farm was at the entrance to Holywell Dene from Hartley Lane. The foundations of Grove Farm can still be seen today.

Congrats to tads10 on FTF.
