Before you start searching for this cache, please read the description below COMPLETELY. It may save you a lot of time and trouble.
My Sweetie has up and gone! She left the nest! I'm devastated!
We met in the aisle of the craft store and it was love at first sight.
She was a cute chick but the other warned me she was flighty.
The other night proved that was true, she just flew away from our little love nest.
I hear she has new digs not too far away, but to confuse me, she took a
circuitous route to get there.
Would you help me find her (and a smiley as well)?
I know she flies at 24.8 km/h
She left here on a bearing of 115.7 dgrees and for 2min 56sec, where she enjoyed Redcliff Days.
Once that was over, she left on a bearing of 117 degrees and flew for 1min 2sec, to see what RUCruzin' was doing that night.
After visiting there for a while, she took off again heading 168.1 degrees and flew for 1min 56sec. That place really rocked, but she was pressed for time so....
she took off again, this time at 226.2 degrees for 2min 47sec. The Ram was on Tour though so she didn't hang around there for long.
Latest reports are she left there heading 337 degrees for 1 min 55 sec.
That took her to a place much too quiet for her so she left again heading 330 degrees this time and flew for 3 min 20sec.
I understand that took her to her new place.
You don't actually have to fly the same route she did to find her because there won't be anything there for you to see anyway. All calculations can be done right at your computer.
If you do the math correctly it won't bring you exactly to her front door, but it should be close enough that you'll have no trouble finding it. It's the only avian friendly hi-rise around!
----- BUT -----
I know where it is and if you get close enough and have the "Right set of Ears", I'll CHIRP the coordinates to you. This will save you the trouble of going the distance to find her.
The "Right set of Ears" is a Garmin GPS which is capable of receiving a CHIRP signal. To enable the CHIRP, go to "SETUP" and select GEOCACHES. Scroll down till you find "chirp Searching Off". Press that icon and you will get a "Select Mode" screen. Turn it "On"
If you are within 10 metres of our Love Nest, it will tansmit a name and new coordinates to your GPSr.
Go there and you will find her!
