Geocache Description:

A walk through Holywell Dene and surounding area. With seventeen caches, plus a bonus cache (numbered to make route easier). Also the option of a further five caches located close to, or on route. Suzie was our family pet who loved coming on this walk, for many years.

The cache is located at the junction of the waggonway and track to Hartley west farm. ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ Families living in the Dene in the middle ages were operating a method of farming. Farms as we know them today, were introduced in 1574 with the Dene having three, Crowhall, Hartley West and Grove Farms. Two of the farms still operate today, Hartley West and Crowhall. ▼ ▼ ▼ ▼ A small clip-lock container, please bring your own pen/pencil. Congrats to tads10 on FTF.
