A micro along the trail
The JoAnn Johnson Trail--we've abbreviated it to the JJ Trail--is a 1.9 mile walking/biking trail along an electric easement, similar to many other trails of this type in the area. There had been a series of caches along this trail but they were archived not too long ago. Since this trail is located very close to our house, we just couldn't let it stay cache-less. So we've hidden a series of caches--10 plus a bonus--for people to find.
Some cachers have said that we tend to underrate our cache difficulty but you can be the judge for this series. Given the fact that the hiding area is rather limited and therefore the hiding method is, too, we feel this is an easy series of caches. Just enough difficulty to pique your interest. All of the caches except the final are micros. The final is a small. Tweezers might prove helpful for some of the caches.
There are several streets that intersect the trail where parking is permitted. But the whole trail can easily be walked in an hour or a little more.
Caches 1-10 will each have a letter and its number equivalent to use for coordinates for the final cache location. Since it is a bonus, we reserve the right to place this off the trail, as needed.
Please replace all caches exactly as found so the next cacher has the same level of challenge that you have experienced. Since the caches are micros, you need to bring your own pen. Hope you enjoy the series!
