This is different to many other caches in this area. It is a facility to purify run off water before it enters the waters of The Great Sandy Strait Marine Park. Best bring a pen to sign the log.
Natural processes are used to collect run off from the roads,filter it, retain it and eventually allow it to escape back into the ocean minus all the sediment, metals etc.
When you get to ground zero look around up the path to the left as you face the ocean.and the Rain Garden will be easy to spot. Unfortunately the sign explaining the process has been vandalized and removed by the council but not replaced as yet.
The path way can be very busy so stealth will be required at times.
