This event is one of eleven monthly events, February through December, celebrating New Mexico's centennial.
Hidden as part of each of these events will be one special cache containing a clue to the final NM Centennial Puzzle Cache which will be published in December.
Let's gather again to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall with a potluck meet-n-greet, Saturday, September, 15th, from Noon til 3 pm at Oak Flat PG. tealeaf is helping us with organizing and meet-and-great; fgfsumf is manning the grills, and wer2ys4u will help us with electronic cache downloads. Whee!
WHAT’S NEW: This event is also honoring the memory of Buzz (Weatherbug) who, with Karen (XRN), originally created this event.
We’re planning two cache releases: some at 8 am, and the rest around 1:30 pm. The 8 am caches will be available only by accessing a link available on this Event page. You will be able to download a .gpx file or a .pdf file. The picnic area does not open until 12Noon.At 1:30 pm, you can access the Event page and download the last 37 caches. We’ll have paper copies available at the event as well.
