A small canister at the start of a track that heads south west into the middle of Putney Heath - a continuation of the Putney Park Lane series to the north.
Bristol House was another of the grand mansions located in Putney. It was demolished around the turn of the century and nothing remains, although I suspect the old wall just to the south of the cache location was part of its northern boundary. The entrance to the House was further south along Telegraph Road at the small triangular green, where it turns into Bristol Gardens. It has a lovely rural feel up here, especially on a summer weekend when there is cricket on the Common (if you ignore the pretty continuous low level drone from the A3, that is).
