Geocache Description:

This should be a quick park and grab.

As a border village in a border county, Belturbet had its share of grief and loss during The Troubles. This statue commemorates two innocents who lost their lives nearby at the Diamond.. While you are there have a look also at the old post office; a far better piece of rural Ireland than its modern counterpart across the road. Hate to see these old buildings die out!
The cache is a magnetic micro so BYOP and initials only, please. Muggles are about especially when the northbound bus stops several times a day.
