Geocache Description:

May 8th 1959: 20 yr old kids, 2 new cars racing across the Valley..........1 lane bridge......cars side by side....BAM!

One 1959 Ford Fairlane with 312 "Thunderbird V8", totaled. 3 kids in hospital :-/
Two cars in the water, bridge wrecked beyond repair.
Small town embarrassment ensues, all people on the other side of the Valley had to go the looooooooooong way around :-)

Funny thing about all this? The kid .... is my father in law :-) Water is DEEP in May!

Boring stuff: Park on S.E. corner of bridge (where people who fish here park). Be very careful crossing the road to get to the cache! Access to cache is NOT from the road portion. **Tuck the large 'micro' cache back in to not be seen easily.........but able to spot for the next geocacher - THX!** Have fun and enjoy the history...........and imagine what this would be like .... going in the water at 60 mph :-)
