This is one in a series of caches placed to recognize some local cachers for various accomplishments.
Cdparker1 recently passed 2,000 caches found and over 300 caches placed. It’s hard not to cache in the area without coming across one of his caches. Congratulations and thanks.
This cache was placed from a kayak and should be easily reachable without having to get out of your boat. When placing this cache I launched from Kiwanis Park on River Road/Route 5S in Rotterdam Junction. The launch coordinates are N 42 50.841 W 074 00.828. Kiwanis Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
Please be careful that the cache container gets replaced the way you found it – high, dry, and intact.
Waterproof paper log – bring your pen because pencils won’t write on it.
