Geocache Description:

Go straight from Yonemachi Park head south, and cross a railroad, and you will be in Bentengahama beach. If you are lucky, you will be able to see the train that carries coal. There is a monument of Takuboku Ishikawa, who is famous poet, near here.

米町公園からまっすぐ南に進み踏み切りを渡り突き当たりまで行くと弁天が浜に着きます。釧路臨港線の石炭を運ぶ列車を見ることができます。近くには石川啄木の歌碑があります。歌集「一握の砂」に収められている歌が刻まれています。 ~~~~さらさらと氷の屑が　波に鳴る　磯の月夜のゆきかへりかな~~~~
