Geocache Description:


A quick and easy cache and dash situated in an urban area in Southsea. This is near a pavement and busy road so be careful of muggles. Parking is available nearby.
Frances Annie Place is so named for the elderly lady who was killed outright at this location about 23 years ago by a speeding boy racer who was located 2 days later and subsequently dealt with by the courts. The local authorities named the small area as a memorial to Frances Annie and the tragedy that had occurred, planted the tree's, installed a bench and initially people enjoyed this bench and area to sit and watch the world go by. Unfortunately, local winoes and groups of unruly youths caused the bench to be eventually removed in an attempt to stop the anti-social behaviour and now unfortunately, the area is badly neglected and Frances Annie is all but forgotten.
You are looking for a micro sized cache, containing log book only so please bring a pen.
