Located between Hightown and Roberttown in rural Liversedge, Liversedge lies between Cleckheaton and Heckmondwike about 5 miles from Huddersfield.
It was named after the Norman nobleman Robert de Liversec, who was granted the land after the conquest of 1066. He also gave his name to local village Roberttown
Can be accessed from Halifax road Hightown or Bullace Trees lane Roberttown. Either way you will encounter a fairly steep hill and if its been raining, I would take some suitable footwear. Both routes are public footpaths but there depending which way you approach, there are often farm animals roaming so please beware and keep dogs under control.
Once you hear the sound of running water, you know that you are approaching Lucie's Brook
**Jan 2018 updated and with a larger cache and few more swappables**
