Geocache Description:


There are 2 steps to learning how to ride a bike. 1. Learning to control the bike 2. Learning to ride the bike in traffic. So practise these exercises in a safe place OFF THE ROAD until you're sure of yourself. It's not a good idea to practise in a car park because drivers don't expect to see a cyclist and won't be looking out for you. Older cars don't always have reverse lights and could back into you without warning. In Walmer (PE) we are fortunate to have a area designed and well kept for all our little people to learn about and practise road safety. The Library, within walking distance from here can also provide information on all the rules of the road. Enjoy finding our hide Drive safe.
