A 35mm film canister hidden on a public footpath between Byron Road and Hatfield Close. Parking is available in both Byron Road and Hatfield Close. There are cycle barriers at either end of the footpath, but it is possible to walk a bike through, as well as a pushchair or wheelchair. A bus route runs along nearby Hutton Drive. Please bring a pen, as the cache does not contain one.
I grew up on the Poets' Estate in Hutton, and when we were visiting our family with the kids, decided to grab some caches. However, when we looked, there were very few that were child walking distance in Hutton, so we thought that we would add some of our own. This cache is located on a footpath between Byron Road and Hatfield Close, which is a popular cut through for muggles. It is named after one of Lord Byron's most famous poems:
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.
And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!
It is a 35mm film canister, and our first cache.
