Island Tour Traditional Cache

While out placing caches this morning we decided that a tour of Dalys Island was in order. We didn't do the cache on the island but while we were taking our boats out of the water at Kiwanis Park C5Z paddled in and reported that he had done it. So it will be on our list for next time. Meanwhile we had an enjoyable time circling the island.
This cache was placed from a kayak and should be easily reachable without having to get out of your boat. When placing this cache I launched from Kiwanis Park on River Road/Route 5S in Rotterdam Junction. The launch coordinates are N 42 50.841 W 074 00.828. Kiwanis Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
Please be careful that the cache container gets replaced the way you found it – high, dry, and intact.
Waterproof paper log – bring your pen because pencils won’t write on it.

6/20/2014 This one moved slightly due to changes Mother Nature made over the winter but is within 19 feet of GZ. Look for a good spot East of GZ at N 42 50.205 W 073 59.793.
