A fairly easy cache that will take you on an enjoyable walk along the rocky shores of south Winnipeg Lake. Watch for huge Bald Eagle known to frequent the area.
You can access this site from Camp Morton by entering the beach by the park recreation center. Or you can approach from the north via the Ukranian Park road. We sigthed a huge Bald Eagle a number of times in this area and suspect a nest is nearby. Lots of big white feathers in the area in addition to big catfish carcases. Very impressive. The cache should be high enough to avoid high water and waves. Take some time in the nearby Camp Morton as its a beautiful area.
