This cache has been archived.

status quo: As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Geocache Description:

A new addition to Queens Park that I only discovered after an orienteering event around Queens Park. It may be a new and cool discovery for other locals like it was for me!

CACHE IS NOT HIDDEN IN THE STUMPERY ITSELF!  It is hidden off to the side.  Please do not hunt for the cache amongst this artwork!

I was informed by another orienteerer that the the stumpery is made up of stumps recovered in the Gorge Road/Waituna area (the 2nd half of the stumps came from their own farm!). It was created by sculpter Frank Wells in the style of a Victorian Folly Stumpery during the first half of 2012. Should become the favourite of many a photographer. Enjoy!

Cache is a 200ml 'olive drab' Sistema container and at the time it was placed it contained a Log Book, pencil and sharpener. Room for trackables.

Parking is available nearby from Queens Drive at the Blind Foundation, but please watch out for people where you drive!
