On our way to Hoop Lake we rounded a corner and saw the Hole in the Rock!  I said to Les I'm going to hike up to there and have a look around, she said have fun! 

Back at our camp site I asked my friend Roger if he would go with and he said he was game. So I packed a cache in my backpack and we were off. This is not an easy hike a little more than 500 feet vertical a lot of loose shale and an eight foot cliff at the end. But the view is worth much more than the effort. We went along the south side of the fault and made it to the top in about an hour. 

As with any geocache there is some inherent danger please be careful when attempting this cache I would not recommend it for children. Again please be careful and have fun.

Please hide the cache back as good or better than you find it.
