This location marks the eastbound gateway to the attractive Kenora community.
This location serves as a common spot for folks looking for a photo opp. The photo opp is noted as a landmark "we were there" image with folks and sign.
The cache is a quick park and grab. The container is medium size camoed lock-and-lock with room for tradeables and trackables. It was seeded with log book, writing stick, FTF certtificate, a trackable, and a small collection of SWAG. It is located at a convenient pull-off on the eastbound TransCanada highway. Kenora is a fabulous tourist town in the beatutiful Lake of the Woods.
If you are passing through, take a bit of time to experience the amenities in the area. Visit the Lake of the Woods Discovery Center a few kilometers east. At the Center you will find area maps, brochures on local attractions, local art, and friendly, helpful staff.
Please consider uploading a photo to the cache web page.
HEADS-UP - if there have been recent rains the walk from the gravel to the cache can be soggy.
Note the nearby sign "Snow Plow Turning-No Parking". Since establishing the cache the words "It's a Natural Attraction" have been removed from the nearby sign.
