Lots of geocachers live in areas where it is hard to get from one state to the next in a day but with this series you have the chance of getting caches in 4 states in about 44 minutes of driving. There is no time limit so just have fun caching your way from state to state. All the caches have been placed for easy access just on and off of Interstate 81. You can be traveling north or south it makes no difference. Each cache was placed by a different local geocacher from their own state. They are from south to north:
- Virginia -- WVKiwi
- West Virginia -- GR8Caches
- Maryland -- Tazscouter
- Pennsylvania -- Wirtz
This cache is off of exit 8 in West Virginia. Things have really changed in this area in just a few short years. I originally wrote: 'This exit is not as busy as many of the other exits so there is no place to eat or get gas but that should make it a quicker grab." Well that is no longer the case. It is very busy in this area now that is why I moved the cache to a safer place to grab. Now there are 2 gas stations both have hot food and plenty of choices. You are looking for a key holder in a light pole. It should be very easy to find but you will need to bring your own pen/pencil. Happy hunting and good luck getting all 4 caches.
