Fica situada no Caniçal no fundo de um vale formado por uma pequena enseada de águas límpidas.
 
EN: Prainha is the name of the only sandy beach in natural volcanic island of Madeira.
It is located in Caniçal the bottom of a valley formed by a small cove of crystalline waters.
