Geocache Description:

On Fox Creek. You'll park just south of the creek bridge, on the opposite side of the road, then cross the road and head up past the Fox Creek sign. Hike up the creek to the coordinates, then look around for 'misplaced' rocks under the nearby trees. In the winter, you'll need crampons to safely walk up the creek. In the summer you'll just get your feet wet.

This cache was originally placed in 2009, but apparently the cache, and two of the three travel bugs inside, were never registered. There were no entries in the log book when we found it, except the note left by the group that placed it:

"On July 11, 2009 Tina, Billy, Jessica, Kayla, Kami, Ethan, Caleb and Christopher "Critter" hid this geocache!

This is to celebrate our Fox family from Iowa visiting Alaska!

Have a great hike — and May God bless you!"

Original contents: A piglet travel bug, a shark travel bug, a plush cow pez dispenser travel bug, a super ball, and the log book & pen.
