We Love I-5 … Exit 577 (Williams) Traditional Cache

two bison: Well, we almost made it to 200 finds here. Steve, PowerDime would've been impressed. Sadly, he is no longer with us, cancer is a bitch, but he found it in 2016 and his kid found in 5 years later so ... it's all good. This would've been the 4th replacement and that is probably a sign to let it go. HQ wants to refresh the gameboard, so it's time for a local to fill in this hole. Lots of cachers travelling I-5 are looking for a place to stop.

Geocache Description:


On January 2, 2008, PowerDime placed a cache, GC18B44, at what was then the end of Ruggieri Way in Williams, Calif. On October 29th of that same year, he had to archive the cache as they decided to extend the road and his cache was a casualty of that construction. This cache is at what is now the end of Ruggieri Way.

There is no evidence of new construction anytime soon so we're hoping this will last longer than 302 days. The placement is such that construction will not impact the cache location.
