This is another in our series dedicated to the Baccalieu Trail. Our goal is to get a cache in every community along the Baccalieu Trail.
Bay de Verde is a community on the Baccalieu Trail near the top of the Bay de Verde peninsula. It's origin is Portuguese and means green bay. Bay de Verde has a population of approximately 500 people and is famous for its spectacular scenery and whale watching and ice bergs when in season.
This cache is a preform hidden at a lookout of Baccalieu Island.
On the day of hiding it was foggy and raining and the coordinates may be off but the clue should give it away.
There is no need to look for the cache beyond the rock barrier.
