This is another in our series dedicated to the Baccalieu Trail. Our goal is to get a cache in every community along the Baccalieu Trail.
Red Head Cove is a small fishing community located in a steep valley north of Bay de Verde. The cove provides very little shelter, it got it's name from the red coloured headland north of the harbour.
The cache is a small lock and lock hidden just up from the beach. You can park close by to retrieve the cache. Take care when walking over beach due to loose beach rocks.
On the day we hid this cache it was foggy and raining but the clue should get you close to the cache.
