Geocache Description:

Really sorry, but what caching walk would be complete without an Ivy Covered Tree? This one is a medium clip lock box and easy to find.

Directions
From AW 5 follow the path along the river (not over the field), turn left at the wall and follow your GPS.

Description
Decent sized cache in a little used path with a few swaps andย some of my beads. This is an easy find, you do not need to leave the path. Please remove any debris and align the lid carefully before locking.

Blurb
This series will take you on about a 5 mile walk around the little visited National Trust Ankerwyke priory property, Warysbury reservoirs, landfill nature reserve and through the village. There is a pub not far off the trail about 3/4 of the way round. I have tried to make the caches interesting and varied. Some are intended to be hard to find but none are in hazardous locations (except for nettles). Ankerwyke can get very muddy so bring good boots and be prepared to get dirty. The mosquitoes in Ankerwyke woods are voracious during the summer, even during the day.

I hope you enjoy this walk and these caches. Please leave honest feedback in your logs, even if negative. If you spot a better place for a cache then let me know.

Please respect the wildlife and keep to the paths and leave everything as you find it.

Thank you to the National Trust for providing permission for these caches.
